What do we believe?

The Word:

We believe in the fully inspired inerrancy and power of the word of God. It was written by uniquely inspired men of God and is fully inspired by God. The Word is without flaw and holds ultimate authority as it is Gods revelation of himself to his children. The stories and accounts reveal the character, nature, and ultimate love of God and how that extraordinary God relates to His people. The Word is complete in fullness and in truth and leads to conviction, correction, reproof, inspiration and encouragement.

(Isaiah 34:16; 40:8, Luke 21:33, Romans 15:4, 1 Peter 1:25)

We believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; three in one. God is the all knowing, all loving, all powerful God. He is the personally intimate creator and redeemer of this world. The being of God is divinely separated into three persons that are unique in roles yet equal in power.

(Genesis 1:1, Isiah 43:10, Ephesians 4:6, 1 John 5:7, John 1:1-18)

We believe that salvation is bought with the precious blood of Jesus through His ultimate and perfect sacrifice on the cross. We are saved by the grace of God and not by works, however, we are called to work out our salvation daily. In response to the movement of the Holy Spirit comes a complete surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord; this is salvation. Salvation lies in the hand of God, the sacrifice of Jesus, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 1:21, Romans 3:23-25, Ephesians 1:4-5, 2:1-10, 1 John 1:6-2:11, Revelation 3:20)

We believe that man is the most unique of Gods creation as we were made in His image and called to His purpose. Though created innocent in the beginning, man disobeyed God and broke the perfect relationship between the Creator and the creation. Because of this, sin has infected and enslaved all people. In spit of humans inclination to sin God, being rich in mercy, deeply loves His creation and reconciled His people back to Him through the cross of Jesus.
